港超聯首輪賽事結束，聯賽將休戰一周，讓路予世盃外。然而，富力主場問題仍未解決，足總仍未有公佈富力能否續以中國廣州燕子崗體育場作主場，東方球迷今發聲明，指不會隨隊北上作客。

自「反送中」運動起，香港充斥著白色恐怖，人心惶惶。普通香港人若北上到中國，也有機會被中國邊境人員留難。參加港超聯的中國球隊富力過去兩季均以位於中國廣州的燕子崗體育場作主場，惟今季足總要求提升硬件，方能續用，不然就要改做小西灣運動場。足總主席貝鈞奇早前指，燕子崗改善工程後，硬件已合標準，惟近日社會事件，要令足總再與各隊商討，是否予富力續用燕子崗。

然而，足總至今仍未公佈最後決定，而富力首場主場賽事，將於14日對東方。東方球迷會「東方十二人」今發聲明，指若富力仍以燕子崗作主場，基於出入境自由及人身安全，忍痛決定不會隨隊作客。該會聲明全文如下：

【東方十二人聲明】

東方十二人打氣團成立以來，“Anyway you go, we will sure follow” ，意指無論球隊去那裡，我們必跟隨，這是我們打氣團對東方龍獅足球隊的信念。然而，鑑於現時社會環境不明朗，主辦當局及雙方球會皆未能確保球迷出入境的人身自由及安全，因此，東方十二人宣佈，將不會前往於2019年9月14日(星期六)廣州燕子崗體育場舉行的香港超級聯賽第二週富力R&F對東方龍獅的賽事。

為了保障打氣團各成員，因而未能作客為心愛的球隊打氣，東方十二人深表遺憾。

另外，也有兩個問題，值得我們反思：
1. 在未能保證職球員以及球迷安全的情況下，主辦當局依然容許富力R&F於廣州主場作賽，是否合理？
2. 作為本港地區的聯賽，香港超級聯賽為甚麼要於非本港範圍內舉行？

最後，祝願球隊以及職球員出入平安，捷報傳來。

EASTERN 12 Statement towards the upcoming away league game held outside Hong Kong territory
“Anyway you go, we will sure follow”it is our faith and values towards the EASTERN LONG LIONS Football Team ever since the EASTERN 12 was established. Judging from recent social phenomenon and unforeseeable circumstances concerning the travel across the border to China, and no guarantee for the absolute safe from neither organizer nor participating clubs, the EASTERN 12 has decided, reluctantly, NOT to participate the week 2 Hong Kong Premier League game, R&F vs Eastern Long Lions, held in the Yanzigang Stadium, Guangzhou on the 14th of September 2019.

We, the EASTERN 12, feel deeply sorry towards our team not to participate and show our support. Yet, securing every EASTERN 12 member safe is our responsibility.

Meanwhile, we would like to raise some concerns
1.) Is it still a responsible way to decide the home venue in Guangzhou, even there is no guarantee for the team players, staff and coaches, and the supporting fans?
2.) What is the rational to decide the home venue is outside Hong Kong territory for the Hong Kong Premier League?
