Puppet state under the war of Hong Kong(Lau Sai Leung)

蘋果日報 2020/06/02 12:00

The principal officials of Hong Kong act like ‘wolf warriors’ as the CCP is going to rule Hong Kong directly. They jostle to publish statements, go on radio and write blogs that pour scorn on and censure the U.S. and the U.S. President Donald Trump, being so worried that if they are one step behind the others they might be punished by the CCP committees. These behaviours are so terrible to look at.
Since Carrie Lam completely failed in governing HKSAR in June last year, the CCP could not wait to overhaul it. However, as all the decisions are not made by the HKSAR government, what the CCP needs is just a group of lackeys that follow the script of “Wen Wei Po” and “Ta Kung Pao” to act or speak while neglecting mainstream opinions. Last month, Carrie Lam reorganised the government's structure abruptly. Hui Ching-yu, a cadre from the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB), replaced Henry Lau Jr., an experienced administrative officer, to be the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury. He will help the CCP to monitor the accounts of Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, Hong Kong Monetary Authority and HKSAR. And a younger officer from the DAB, Tsui Ying-wai, was appointed to take a significant role, that is to replace Lau Kong-wah to be the Secretary for Home Affairs. Tsang Kwok-wai, who has never been a scholar-official but military official, replaced Nip Tak-kuen as the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs. Without a doubt, Carrie Lam is just a figurehead.
Not long ago, Ho Kai-ming from DAB was appointed to be the Under Secretary for Labour & Welfare and Ip Chun-lim will be the Political Assistant to the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, partnered with Hui. Ho has been a featherweight in The Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions and has no contribution to the LegCo. As for Ip, he was also a low man on the totem pole in the financial industry before joining the government. Under the totalitarian rule of the CCP, the top quality needed for officers is their political loyalty, while political capacity and political skills will not be considered, not to mention public engagement or public opinions.
Restructuring the HKSAR government is the chip of Emperor Xi to retaliate the second phrase of the China-U.S. trade war. He has to ensure that he controls the core of Hong Kong tightly. While getting ready to retaliate, ‘miracles’ happened, such that even Cheung Kin-chung changed from a political quail to a wolf warrior. He has been responding frequently to CCP-related issues.
Getting back the sovereignty in 1997 and banning autonomy in 2020
Politicians who were considered to be in the moderate groups, such as Ronny Tong Ka-wah, Law Chi-kwong and Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee are of no use politically and may now be abandoned. As from now on, the CCP will prefer those who are inexperienced as they do not have any burdens, and once they are ‘promoted’, they will have immense gratitude towards the CCP and will be absolutely obedient. Indeed, the pro-establishment camp was also manipulated or used by the former governors back then when Hong Kong was ruled by Britain. The difference was that British sought out people with certain social status and reputations, so that Hong Kong people were convinced and thus sincerely supported the government. Nevertheless, the bureaucratic CCP empire trusts no Hong Kong people and intervenes in every single thing. CCP schemingly selects and aggrandize ‘featherweight’ and ‘extras’ to demonstrate that its power transcends the law of Hong Kong. The CCP wants to show everyone that if you obey and follow them wholeheartedly, you will have a bright political future.
Under this path, the Hong Kong Chief Executive election is just to go through the motions. No matter who the future Chief Executive will be, the CCP has helped him or her organise everything well. Everyone is in their roles now. When the Secretary for Justice and Chief Secretary for Administration are also taken, the CCP will have full control of the executive authorities of Hong Kong. And the next step is to disqualify more legislators to ‘rectify’ the Legislature. As for the Judiciary, the process will be speeded up after the retirement of the Honourable Chief Justice Geoffrey Ma Tao-li.
By the war of Hong Kong, I mean exercising overall jurisdiction via the so-called foreign enemies. Getting back the sovereignty in 1997 and banning autonomy in 2020.
