My name is Chris. How are you? I have been an Apple Daily reader for 20 years. When I was a secondary school student, my family started to subscribe the paper.

Too many things have happened in Hong Kong over the past year. Many media outlets are no longer neutral and few are able to stick to their guns. But everyone at Apple Daily remains unchanged. Even in the face of oppression and intimidation by the totalitarian regime, they remain undaunted. Our support for you has not been in vain. My family and I have huge respect for you!

We are all very angry and sad about what you are going through! It is extremely ridiculous and unfair that you get treated like this just because you speak the truth!

Are you warm enough? Remember to wear more clothes and drink more warm water if you can! We are closely following news about you and look forward to the day you come out. Take care of yourself!
