獨立股評人David Webb今年6月透露自己患有轉移性前列腺癌，他今日透過Newsletter向讀者表示，受惠於藥物有效抑制癌症，現時身體運作良好，或至少比立法會運作得更好。他感謝大家向他祝福，惟無法逐一回應。

他又指，自己的目標清單（bucket-list）有阻滯，仍在等待旅行變得無阻滯，否則檢疫安排將有影響療程風險。

另外，隨着重新安排人生的優先次序，他不能像以往經常寫作，但有時仍不吐不快，就像今天的文章。Webb指出香港政府應該提供誘因讓港人進行檢測，而不是強制法例。

Here I am again! Six months post-diagnosis and thanks to the power of pharmaceuticals suppressing the cancer, I am functioning pretty well, or at least functioning better than the Legislative Council. Thank you for so many good wishes to which I could not possibly respond individually.

The bucket-list is on hold of course, waiting for travel to become feasible again without the risk of quarantine preventing my treatment.

With rearranged priorities, I can’t write as often as before, but I sometimes feel compelled to speak out, and today’s lead article is one of those times.
