Braised chicken with chestnuts and mixed mushrooms
Ingredients:
Chestnut 400g
Chicken ½ pc
Dried mixed mushroom 50g
Green onion 2 pcs
Shallot 1 pc
Garlic 2 cloves
Red chili 1 pc
Marinade:
Sugar Little
Pepper Little
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Cornstarch 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce 1 teaspoon
Dark soy sauce Little
Steps:
1. Soak mixed mushroom in water. Marinate chicken with marinade for a while. Cut red chili in strips. Slice shallot. Shred garlic and green onion.
2. Heat the oil, pan fry chicken. Put in shallot, garlic and chestnuts.
3. Put in mixed mushroom and soaked mushroom water. Put extra water to cover the ingredients. Cover the lid and cook in mid-low heat for 45 minutes. Put in soy sauce, dark soy sauce and sugar. Put in red chili. Thicken the sauce with cornstarch water.
