Gilbert is a working man / Got to get some while he can / In this city he can’t understand……
他邊看新聞,腦海中浮現抗爭畫面,寫道:「Somehow, something still shines so bright/ In this cage they have both locked us in/ Outside these chains, poison fills up the air/ In this jail cell, your love makes me feel it’s a fight we can win.」
Your love makes me feel it’s a fight we can win。
《Somehow, Something》
Somehow, something in you still blooms
While the roadblocks we put up fall down
Outside these chains, bullets rain down the sky
In this jail cell with you, it just feels this resistance won’t die
《The Tragedy of Gilbert》
Gilbert lives in Hong Kong
But was born in Bangkok
Gilbert can’t pick up the language though he tried
Mom brought him here in 96 I guess Thai daddy was ditched
Gilbert can’t pick up the language though he tried
《Tram》
From Quarry Bay to North Point
Maybe we can ride the tram
And we could talk of pop and rock
And Hong Kong traffic jams
Or politics and movies
Or just how you feel today
I’ll think of more excuses for me to stay
