6.12 marked the beginning of police brutality. Protesters fought against the tyranny with just flesh and blood. They outdid themselves, regardless of the results, they fought and sacrificed for freedom. A year has passed, 9,000 people were arrested, more than ten thousands were injured. Freedom will be further eroded by the National Security Law.
Protesters who discussed whether to stay on the streets and continue their protests a year ago are now either exiled or considering to emigrate. How big will the price be for Hongkongers to fight for freedom? For those who stay, how are they going to continue fighting the battle?
