Japanese Shrimp Stuffed Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce
Japanese teriyaki sauce 1.5 tablespoons
Rice bran oil 2 tablespoons
1. Soak shrimp with ice water for 5 mins, shell and remove devein.
2. Wipe shrimp with kitchen paper, put salt, pepper and sesame oil into shrimp, marinate 10 mins.
3. Mix Japanese teriyaki sauce, water, mirin, sugar, cornstarch as sauce.
4. Beat egg. Cut tofu into pieces and take out the middle part of tofu.
5. Sweep on the egg and stuff the shrimp.
6. Heat the rice bran oil, pan fry tofu with mid-heat until golden brown, then put in the sauce and cook 2 mins.
