Virtueless and incompetent pro-establishment camp has gained more than they deserve in 20 years|Poon Siu To

The three founders of the Bauhinia Party from the commercial sector aim at soliciting for 250 thousand members that are imported professionals and graduates of Chinese universities from China.
The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong(DAB) and the Liberal Party are of the view that the Bauhinia Party is not a threat to them. Ip Kwok-him, a Hong Kong delegate to the National People’s Congress(NPC), said: “There are members of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress from the DAB, and I myself sit in the NPC; some of the DAB members are Executive Council members while some are legislators who are in the majority of the LegCo. In terms of background, I don’t think the Bauhinia Party, as it is shown to us now, is in the ascendant.” He just whistles in the dark to embolden himself. Are what indigenous communists in Hong Kong and the pro-establishment camp touting now better as compared with that being sold by the Bauhinia Party? The latter is way better in terms of political correctness and telling political lies, and much more competent than the former! Talking to Beijing officials in the same language, they have a sound grasp of Beijing’s intents, hence being put to good use much more conveniently.
Besides, this bunch of new Hong Kongers are already predominant in Central, gaining control of Hong Kong economic arteries. Quite the contrary, indigenous communists are unlearned and incapable while pro-establishment figures from the commercial sector rest content with old practice, being convinced that Beijing has to manage Hong Kong through them, thus only currying favor with Beijing, even undermining the foundation of “one country, two systems” by staying reticent about the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) interfering in Hong Kong affairs and crushing “one country, two systems”, as well as helping Beijing crack down on the Hong Kongers who safeguard Hong Kong’s high degree of autonomy. Actually, Beijing has been discontent with the pro-establishment camp for quite some time. The high-ranking officials, lawmakers and indigenous communists have been so greedy and incompetent that Beijing has been displeased with them, despite the fact that the CCP has been manipulating the Hong Kong society behind the scenes for decades, having in the palm of its hand the government, the LegCo, the pro-establishment parties and district organizations, which is handy for manoeuvring. However, in order to capitalize on them to maintain “one country, two systems and Hong Kong people ruling Hong Kong”, Beijing had to eat the leek.
Now that Beijing has decided to come to the front to unscrupulously intervene in Hong Kong affairs, is the pro-establishment camp still of any help? Before the CCP founded the government, it also declared publicly it would share the power with the opposition parties by putting together a coalition government to replace the National Government. The first term of the Central Government comprised chairman Mo Zedong and three deputy chairmen from pro-democracy parties out of the six. Yet nearly all the key members of those pro-democracy parties were rounded up nine years later in an anti-right movement. The power was then seized hold of by the CCP, even in the hand of Mo.
The history of the CCP taking over the power is now being put on again. Being incapable and not empowered by public opinion, indigenous communists and the pro-establishment camp have gained more than they deserve by grabbing the perks for their political stance! Now, perhaps they can save their own lives by making way for the new Hong Kongers or else they will end up leaving the playing field even more miserably than the pro-democracy camp.
