坎培拉天降網球大冰雹 汽車、國會大樓被砸 至少二人輕傷

澳洲新南威爾斯州及坎培拉一帶今日 (20/1) 天降冰雹，同時受強風吹襲。當地媒體指冰雹大小如同網球，暫時有兩人受輕傷。
坎培拉今日出現大型冰雹，大小如同網球般。網上不少片段均可見大量從天而降的冰雹砸毀停泊街上的汽車擋風玻璃和樹木。當地下午 1 時就曾出現大型冰雹暴，國會大樓不斷被冰雹擊中。《衛報》指澳洲東部時間下午 2 時 50 分，當地緊急服務部門接獲逾 1,200 宗求助個案，兩人受輕傷。澳洲學院研究人員 Tom Swann 在 Twitter 表示自己拯救了一隻粉紅鳳頭鸚鵡，並指有獸醫接收了不少受傷雀鳥個案。

— Tom Maddocks (@MaddocksThomas) January 20, 2020澳洲氣象部門警告新州多區將受暴雨影響，署理預報員 Abrar Shabren 指今次暴雨將非常嚴重。天氣預報指除悉尼和卧龍崗等城市外，部份火災災區也有機會出現嚴重暴雨及強風。當局預計此低氣壓系統將在周一晚向東移至塔斯曼海 (Tasman Sea) 海域，為東部沿岸地區帶來暴雨。現時當地仍然受山火威脅。

— NSW RFS (@NSWRFS) January 20, 2020受強風影響，新州中部昨日出現曾大型沙塵暴。部份地區錄得達每小時 94–107 公里風速。儘管雨勢有助緩減山火擴散，但當地緊急服防部門就擔心暴雨將引致山洪暴發，增加救援難度。學者亦擔心暴雨不但未能解決長遠旱災問題，更有機會引致山洪暴發，有機會污染水源，加劇當地旱情。
氣象部門預計當地本周三四將會有來自西北地區的乾旱和暖的風吹襲，將重新增加山火風險。不過當局同時展望其後數日將再次變得潮濕。
