【武漢肺炎】愛爾蘭現代藝術博物館被徵用　改建臨時停屍間

    武漢肺炎疫情全球肆虐，各地政府開始徵用不同場所作為臨時停屍間。早前愛爾蘭現代藝術博物館（Irish Museum of Modern Art）亦宣布該館前地被政府徵用作興建臨時停屍間，以應對武漢肺炎疫情。博物館建築前身為17世紀的一座醫院，擁有大片空地及庭院。
    愛爾蘭疫情越趨嚴重，昨日（2日）單日確診數目高達 402 宗，累計確診數目為 3,849 宗，死亡人數已超過 98 人。上周，愛爾蘭總理 Leo Varadkar 已下令民眾除購買日用品外，必須留在家中，防止疫情進一步惡化。另一邊廂，愛爾蘭現代藝術博物館亦在 Instagram 發聲明宣布，已被政府徵用作興建臨時停屍間，以配合應對當地疫情。館方表示會全力協助政府，並指有關措施反映疫情的嚴重性。 館方又指，為所有需要使用這些設施的死者家屬致上深切慰問與敬意。
    愛爾蘭現代藝術博物館於 3 月 12 日起已閉館，而其空地亦於同月 25 日起暫停開放。
    愛爾蘭現代藝術博物館位於首都都柏林，成立於1990年，次年正式開放。其前身為 17世紀一座醫院 the Royal Hospital Kilmainham（RHK），擁有大片空地與庭院。該片露天空間可用作舉辦不同類型活動。

As the country prepares Public Heath facilities to deal with Covid 19, we have been requested to facilitate the construction of a temporary mortuary on the grounds of the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham. We are determined to assist with the national effort while realising that this impacts on public access to the site significantly. While this is, of course, a reminder of the seriousness of this situation, the dignity and solemn beauty of the grounds is appropriate.
