美國兩黨議員關注 15 香港民主派人士被拘控　佩洛西促特朗普執行《香港人權與民主法案》

    李柱銘、吳靄儀及黎智英等 15 名香港民主派人士昨日（18日）因參與去年的反修例集會遊行被捕，引起美國政界關注。美國國務卿蓬佩奧（Mike Pompeo）表示高度關注事件，又形容把執法政治化不符合普世價值。聯邦眾議院議長佩洛西（Nancy Pelosi）在 Twitter 表示，香港的民主和人權持續受到侵害，認為總統特朗普應盡快實行《香港人權與民主法案》，另有多名國會議員都有就事件表態。

    民主黨眾議員、美國國會及行政當局中國委員會（GECC）主席麥高文（Jim McGovern）在Twitter發文表示，在全球疫情蔓延下，香港持續對民主派領䄂作出「政治逼害」是不合情理，他和佩洛西同樣呼籲，總統特朗普應該堅決執行法案。

    參議院多數黨領袖麥康奈爾（Mitch McConnell）在推文中指，中國共產黨不應以疫情作掩飾，拘捕和平的民主派領䄂，又形容這是北京打壓香港自由和人權的可恥行逕。

    共和黨數名參議員，包括加德納（Cory Gardner）、斯科特（Rick Scott）和魯比奧（Marco Rubio），都分別在Twitter發文關注事件，斯科特形容相關拘捕行動是不可接受，加德納和魯比奧分別呼籲，北京和香港政府應盡快釋放多名被捕人士，及撤銷對他們的檢控。
