【香港國安法】美參議員 Ted Cruz：香港如同「新柏林」　盟友需堅守阻共產主義擴散

    中國全國人大即將審議俗稱「港版國安法」議案，美國共和黨參議員克鲁兹（Ted Cruz）在 Twitter 指，中共正加速終結香港剩下的自治權，以及剝奪香港人基本自由。他表明此舉完全不可接受，若北京不立即撤回議案，就需要重新評估美國政策。他強調香港如同「新柏林」，美國必須與盟友堅守防線，阻止共產主義進一步擴散。

    昨日《新華社》公布全國人大三次會議議程，第五項為審議《香港國安法》草案。內容為「審議全國人民代表大會常務委員會關於提請審議《全國人民代表大會關於建立香港特別行政區維護國家安全的法律制度和執行機制的決定（草案）》的議案」。

    美國民主黨人、眾議院議長佩洛西 (Nancy Pelosi) 亦在 Twitter 發文，指北京再次企圖破壞一國兩制的做法令人極度震驚，並認為北京繞過香港立法程序，是完全蔑視當地法治 (Attempting to circumvent the HK legislature shows a complete disrespect for the rule of law.)。
    美國前駐聯合國大使 Nikki Haley 亦於 Twitter 發文，當各國忙於應付中國不小心散播開去的病毒之際，中共趁機透過立法解決去年香港街頭政治抗爭，這種做法實在毫不意外，並在文未加入「StandWithHK」標籤。
