【武漢肺炎】全球確診破 510 萬人 美國佔逾三成 政府下半旗悼病死者

根據霍普金斯大學 (John Hopkins University) 的最新數據，全球累積確診感染武漢肺炎 (COVID-19) 人數已突破 500 萬，達 5,101,400 人， 332,876 人病死，近 31% 確診感染案例來自疫情最嚴重的美國。美國現時有 1,577,140 人確診感染 COVID-19 ， 94,702 人病死。
雖然近日多國疫情有所緩和，但本周三全球新增 10.6 萬宗確診感染個案，是疫情至今單日最大升幅；而自 4 月 15 日全球累積確診感染個案破 200 萬後，至今僅約 5 周已令確診數字增 2.5 倍。不過，多國專家都認為現時的數字極可能被低估，例如部份感染者因無病徵且所住地區或國家無全面病毒檢測而無被確診。
多個國家與地區亦繼續計劃放寬保持社交距離的措施，例如美國新澤西州州長 Phil Murphy 周四指可在數周內重開髮廊、美容店與健身中心，不過他在 CNBC 的訪問中強調現時未有放寬措施的實際時間表。
