【國安法壓港】BNO 留英期限或延長 英記者引內政部消息：290 萬港人受惠 可攜家屬赴英

全國人大通過「港區國安法」的決定草案，引發國際社會關注升溫。英國外相藍韜文昨日表示，若中國不停止訂立國安法，將會更改 BNO 在英國的居留條件，居留期由 6 個月變成 12 個月，又指即是為將來取得公民權提供道路。
英國官方今日發出予傳媒的資料顯示，香港約有 290 萬人擁 BNO 資格，英國小報《inewspaper》政治副編輯 Hugo Gye 在 Twitter 指，這 290 萬人，即使現時沒有有效的 BNO 護照，亦可連同其家屬（dependents）可前往英國，並補充英國內政部發言人已證實其消息。
Hugo Gye 補充，現階段有關措施，仍未開放予未曾擁有 BNO 資格的持有人。

Just to be clear, I have checked with the Home Office and a spokesman tells me my original tweet was correct - offer would be open to all BN(O)s whether or not they currently hold valid BN(O) passport. It would not (at this stage) be open to HKers who do not have BN(O) status.
