【送中第 63 日】鄭文傑劉康去信蓬佩奧　促美制裁鹽田看守所主管　斥中國殘酷拘留

    被香港警察指控涉嫌違反《港區國安法》通緝、現時正身處英國的鄭文傑及劉康，今日（24 日）聯名致函美國國務卿蓬佩奧，促請美國就 12 港人被殘酷拘留，制裁更多中國官員，並點名深圳公安局局長劉國周，以及 3 名鹽田看守所主管。
    兩人在信中表示，12 個香港抗爭者被中國拘留期間，人權受侵犯，包括被拒見律師，不准與外界聯絡。信件重提鄭文傑被中國當局拘留的遭遇，包括被嚴刑迫供、剝奪睡眠、上手扣、束縛、蒙眼。兩人相信，中國當局會以類似方式折磨 12 港人。
    被點名的 4 名中國官員，包括深圳公安局局長劉國周，深圳鹽田看守所所長丁團員、以及兩名副所長黃小明和謝德，信件指 4 人應該為侵犯人權付出沉重代價，促請美國政府制裁包括上述 4 人的更多中國官員。

    以下是鄭文傑、劉康去信蓬佩奧全文：

    Dear United States Secretary of State,

    As Hong Kong democracy activists, we are most grateful to the United States government for supporting Hongkongers by various means, such as imposing sanctions against Hong Kong and Chinese officials for oppression of civil liberty. We sincerely hope the United States government would also impose sanctions against more Chinese officials so as to save the twelve Hong Kong democratic protesters detained in China.

    Recently, the Chinese regime has unjustly detained twelve Hong Kong democratic protesters in Yantian, Shenzhen, China. The twelve Hong Kong democratic protesters have been subject to treatment in violation of their human rights, including gross denial of their own chosen lawyers and liaison with the public.

    Due to our political opinions, one of us, Simon Cheng, was detained in China last year. During the detention, Simon was tortured and deprived of sleep while being handcuffed, shackled, blindfolded, and hooded. After what Simon did experience, we suspect that the twelve Hong Kong democratic protesters have been subject to similar treatment and interrogation at the hands of the Chinese regime.

    The Chinese officials in Shenzhen are responsible for the cruel detention of the twelve Hong Kong democratic protesters. The Chinese officials, who should pay the heavy price for violating human rights, including Liu Guozhou (劉國周), the director of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau; Ding Tuanyuan (丁團員), the commissioner of Yantian Detention Center; Huang Xiaoming (黃小明), the deputy commissioner of Yantian Detention Center; Xie De (謝德), the deputy commissioner of Yantian Detention Center.

    Given the barbarous detention of the twelve Hong Kong democratic protesters in China, we would sincerely ask the United States government to impose sanctions against the Chinese regime, including the Chinese officials named above.
