    香港立法會議員、新民黨主席葉劉淑儀今早在社交媒體發表驚人言論，引起外媒記者群起批評。
    葉劉淑儀今日（1 月 28 日）在 Twitter 發帖，稱美方指責中國在新疆進行種族滅絕，但現時中國最炙手可熱的明星之一迪麗熱巴（Dilraba Dilmurat），形容她並不是「新疆唯一的成功故事」，質問「何來種族滅絕？」

    言論一出，隨即引起外媒記者關注，群起批評。
    《經濟學人》中國記者 Don Weinland 「大讚」葉劉「做得好」，形容其言論「可能是世界上最卑鄙的推文」。《法新社》港澳台分區主編 Jerome Taylor 也加把嘴，「因為新疆出了個明星，就代表沒有人道罪行發生嗎？」現居於北京、英國《獨立電視新聞》（ITV）亞洲新聞特派員 Debi Edward 批評葉劉眼中「只有名人和成功故事，沒有種族滅絕。」
