迎合中國審查　Sony新戲刪長城被毀畫面

    Sony推出融合「食鬼」、Donkey Kong、青蛙過馬路、Space Invaders等經典遊戲角色的大電影《Pixels》（港譯《屈機起「格」命》），片中一眾電玩角色會在地球大肆破壞；但路透社日前引述Sony內部郵件披露，Sony為了進入中國市場，自行刪除片中長城被毀一幕，以及提及中國是攻擊幕後黑手的劇情，而世界各地其他名勝如印度泰姬陵、紐約曼克頓的破壞場面則繼續保留。
    《Pixels》由《哈利波特》系列首兩集導演Chris Columbus執導，由亞當桑迪拿主演，劇情講述遊戲中的經典角色紛紛化成巨型外來怪物，侵襲地球，亞當桑迪拿飾演的八十年代遊戲高手負責打敗食鬼等角色，拯救地球。該片上週在北美上映。
    對荷里活電影公司而言，北美票房收益每況愈下，中國市場變得越來越重要。去年，美加票房較前年下跌5%至104億（美元，下同），與此同時中國票房卻大增34%至48億；今年首半年，中國票房錄得33億收入，當中《狂野時速7》大賺3.83億，較美加總票房3.51億為高。
    Pixels 所有中國元素全部刪走
    去年，索尼被黑客攻擊，大量機密資料被公諸於世，上述郵件是其中之一。美國政府指控攻擊為朝鮮所為。路透引述索尼影業中國首席代表Li Chow 2013年致索尼高層的電郵指，雖然片中全球各處也被被壞、長城被毀應該不成問題，但這一幕對影片在中國發行毫無益處，建議刪掉這一幕。片中另有一段劇情，由美國總統及CIA領高層談論，懷疑中國是一次不明攻擊的幕後黑手，最後受質疑者被改成俄羅斯、伊朗及Google。

    “China can be mentioned alongside other super powers but they may not like ‘Russia and China don’t have this kind of technology’,” Li wrote in the email. “And in view of recent news on China hacking into government servers, they may object to ‘a communist-conspiracy brother hacked into the mail server...’”

    戲中食鬼在東京大肆破壞，曾有人建議將場境搬到上海，但建議遭否決，破壞上海的場面被指非常敏感，但索尼高層也坦承摸不準中方的界線在哪裏。

    “As to relocating the Pac-Man action from Tokyo to Shanghai, this is not a good idea because it will involve destruction all over the city and may likely cause some sensitivity,” she wrote in a December 18, 2013 email. “In other words, it is rather hard to say whether it would be a problem because the unwritten rule is that it is acceptable if there is no real intention in destroying a certain building or street and if it is just collateral damage. But where would you draw the line?”

    路透報道，最終片中所有有關中國的段落均被刪走。索尼影業發言人拒絕回應郵件內容。最終，索尼上週接獲通知，《Pixels》獲准進入中國，將於9月15日首映。
    內部郵件還顯示，有高層顧慮到媒體和網民會比較國際版及中國版，找出當中遷就中國市場的改動，因此建議索尼直接將全球版本中的中國元素刪走。被竊電郵當中，另有索尼高層討論如何刪改2014年版《鐵甲威龍》（RoboCop），方便進入中國的討論；有高層建議，將原定設於中國的軍火集團，遷移至東南亞國家，但建議最終未被採納。電郵內容顯示，《鐵甲威龍》需要刪改多次。
    而湯漢斯主演的《盜海狙擊》（Captain Phillips），則不獲准在中國上映；索尼高層在內部電影中猜測，《盜》被拒的原因是因為內容講述美軍大費周章拯救一名國人，中國永不會這樣做，所以不希望國民看到這種電影。

    “The reality of the situation is that China will probably never clear the film for censorship,” wrote Bruer. “Reasons being the big Military machine of the U.S. saving one U.S. citizen. China would never do the same and in no way would want to promote this idea. Also just the political tone of the film is something that they would not feel comfortable with.”
