【國安拘蘋果高層】美國務院強烈譴責　促立即放人

    警方國安處昨（17 日）拘捕壹傳媒集團行政總裁張劍虹、《蘋果日報》總編輯羅偉光及副社長陳沛敏等 5 名公司董事，指控涉嫌違反國安法「串謀勾結外國或境外勢力危害國家安全罪」。美國國務院發言人普萊斯 (Ned Price) 於當地時間周四（17 日）回應指，美國強烈強烈讉責拘捕 5 人，促請港府立即釋放他們。
    普萊斯表示，對於香港政府有選擇性地利用國安法，針對獨立傳媒機構，美國表示深切關注，又指「串謀勾結外國或境外勢力危害國家安全罪」看來完全是出於政治動機。
    而加拿大全球事務部（Global Affairs Canada）周四於Twitter上回應事件 ，指香港5名新聞工作者被捕是國安法被用來壓制媒體自由的另一例子，加拿大強烈支持言論和新聞自由，而這些自由在基本法下，是必須獲得保證，並且符合國際規範。

    另外，無國界記者組織 (RSF) 亦強烈讉責警方對蘋果日報的搜查，促請立即釋放 5 人。
