【內文有得聽】澳洲麝鴨講「你這該死的傻瓜」錄音曝光

    除了哥、鸚鵡懂得模仿人類說話，澳洲麝鴨原來也有這能力。一隻名為 Ripper 的麝鴨「說出」：「你這該死的傻瓜」("you bloody fool") 的錄音重現人間。
    這段珍貴的錄音由研究員 Dr Peter Fullagar 於 34 年前於坎培拉 Tidbinbilla 自然保護區紀錄，最近才由荷蘭萊頓大學專門研究鳥類語音學習的 Prof Carel ten Cate 重新發現。他還發現錄音中，Ripper 除了模仿人說話，亦模仿了大力關門的砰砰聲。
    哺乳動物中，海豚、鯨魚、大象和蝙蝠均有學習話音的能力，鳥類則有鳴鳥（songbird）、鸚鵡和蜂鳥有學習發出某種聲響的能力。研究人員之前假設，35 個鳥類物種中，只有 3 個物種進化出聲音學習能力，但基於 Ripper 的發現，這個假設將可重寫。
