穆斯林學生自製電子鐘被捕　科技界狂撐　朱克伯格、Google約見面　Twitter提供實習

    美國德州一名14歲的穆斯林學生Ahmed Mohamed，日前帶同自製的數碼時鐘回校，被老師誤以為是計時炸彈，一度被當地警方鎖上手銬扣留，及後才獲釋。事件令全國關注到宗教及種族歧視等問題。事發後，Facebook、Google及Twitter等科技巨擘，紛紛表態支持Ahmed，其中Twitter更表明，願意為這位小男生提供實習機會。
    Twitter官方帳號今日表示，願意向Ahmed提供實習的機會：「在Twitter，我們都喜歡建造東西。你有沒有興趣來實習？」

    就連科技巨擘Google都賞識Ahmed的才能，邀請他出席周末的Google Science Fair比賽：「Ahmed，我們已為你預留了坐位，想來嗎？把你的時鐘也帶來吧。」

    Facebook創辦人朱克伯格表明亦就事件表態，認為勇於創造的人值得鼓勵，而不應被拘捕。他又邀請Ahmed到訪Facebook總部和他見面。

    美國總統奧巴馬則在Twitter鼓勵少年，邀請他到訪白官，「很酷的電子錶，Mohamed。你希望帶它到白宮嗎？我們應該鼓勵更多的孩子像你一樣喜歡科學。這是讓美國強大的原因」。

    有網民在各大社交網站發起了「#istandwithahmed」的標籤，並留言聲援Ahmed。不少人上載自己手持時鐘的相片，以表示支持。有網民更聲稱願意捐出25萬美元，助Ahmed入讀更好的學校。
