昂山素姬料全民盟可獨立組閣執政　已公佈121席結果　奪107席

    緬甸國會大選點票結果陸續公佈，在目前已公佈的121個國會議席中，昂山素姬領導的全國民主聯盟取得107席，具軍方背景的執政黨「聯邦團結發展黨」則取得7席。昂山素姬今日接受BBC訪問時稱，相信該黨將取得國會選舉產生席位的75%，可以獨立組閣領導緬甸政府。
    據《緬甸時報》報道，在498席由選舉產生的國會議席中，現時官方公佈了121席的正式結果。在民族院（上議院）已公佈的33席中，全民盟取得29席、聯發黨取得2席，而在人民院（下議院）已公佈的88席中，全民盟取得78席、聯發黨取得5席。
    執政黨代理主席已承認落敗，但現任總統登盛一直未就選舉結果開腔。當地媒體引述消息報道，登盛將於所有結果正式公佈後，再向昂山素姬致賀。
    由於軍方起草的憲法所限，昂山素姬無法參選總統，她表明自己會凌駕總統之上成為政府實際領袖，引起爭議。昂山素姬今日另接受新加坡Channel News Asia訪問l時，指在一般民主國家，勝選黨派領袖成為政府領導人是正常做法，但緬甸憲法不容許，因此要「另作安排」。她形容屆時總統將沒有權力，由黨就政務作出決定。

    “He will have no authority, that he will act in accordance with the decisions of the party. That is the only logical way to do it. Because in any democratic country, it’s the leader of the winning party that becomes the leader of the government. If this constitution doesn’t allow it, then we will have to make arrangements so that we can proceed along usual democratic lines.”
