英樂隊Blur推新碟 取材自雨傘運動

    英國著名樂隊Blur宣佈相隔十二年再出大碟《The Magic Whip》。大碟最特別的地方是香港製作，極具本土特色。Blur主音Damon Albarn更透露，製作時曾走到佔領運動現場體驗，構成大碟元素之一。
    英國樂隊Blur早前在倫敦召開記招，宣布將在4月27日推出大碟《The Magic Whip》。最叫本地樂迷驚喜的是，今次大碟前後花了五天於香港製作。唱片的封面同樣具本土特色，將Blur譯成繁體中文「模糊」，又將《The Magic Whip》譯作「魔鞭」。
    Blur的作品一向帶有政治意味。主音Damon Albarn透露，自己曾親自到達佔領運動現場，又直言對中國有強烈的情感連繫：

    The time we were there, the moment I was there, 24 hours after they'd scrubbed the streets clean after the protests and previous experiences I'd had in Hong Kong with Gorillaz and China. I've got quite a strong emotional connection to China. It also gave me the opportunity to write about my visit to North Korea. It was about us and our relationship with each other. It's proved to be an interesting subject matter.

    Blur亦推出了新歌《Go Out》的歌詞MV，片段「無厘頭」地教觀眾整雪糕，並配上中文字幕，繼續保持其本土風格。
