When I am lost, I can only hope for rescue by young people.
Sure enough, along they come, smiling, delighted to help, and, incidentally, speaking pretty good English (apologising for their poor English all the while).
In the hope of finding eventual success, they must slave at their studies, practically to the exclusion of everything else.
They find that they are the last to be hired and first to be fired.
It isn't much fun being a young person in Hong Kong today and being criticised by grumpy fat cats who have forgotten their youthful ideals, if they ever had any.
Youngsters in Hong Kong deserve a better press.
