加泰獨立運動領袖 普伊格德蒙特：支持香港民族黨續爭自由民主

西班牙加泰羅尼亞自治政府前主席、加泰獨立運動的主要領袖普伊格德蒙特（Carles Puigdemont），日前（10月3日）在 twitter 分享一則香港《南華早報》的報道，顯示有支持香港民族黨的市民，在10月1日當天遊行高舉「香港獨立」橫幅外，還揮舞加泰羅尼亞獨立旗幟，並叫喊「香港不是中國（Hong Kong is not China）」口號。
普伊格德蒙特指，香港示威者揮舞著代表支持加泰獨立的旗幟 'Estelada' ，作為自由的象徵。他希望支持黃之鋒和最近被取締的香港民族黨的所有成員，繼續爭取自由和民主。
