首回應被拒入境香港　馬凱：將重讀《1984》

    《金融時報》亞洲新聞編輯、香港外國記者會（FCC）第一副主席馬凱（Victor Mallet）前天（11月8日）以遊客身份來港時，被入境處查問數小時後遭拒絕入境香港。他昨晚在 facebook 發帖，貼出自己的香港政府總部採訪證和八達通相片（上圖），表示未來日子不再需要這些東西，而原定來港與同事會面、出席國際文學節、與香港朋友道別、再訪全亞洲最好的新聞界俱樂部 FCC 等，在未來一段日子都不能做到。他最後指自己將會遷居歐洲，也會重讀英國作家 George Orwell 的名著《1984》，他引述書中極權政府的口號：「戰爭就是和平，自由就是奴役，無知就是力量（WAR IS PEACE / FREEDOM IS SLAVERY / IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH）」，似諷刺中國和香港政府。
